Tools

I’ve been doing web programming since 1996 (primarily Adobe ColdFusion). I come across lots of interesting tools to help you do lots of different things. A few I’ve written and keep at toshop.com (my first domain back in 1996) and others I find and share with you. If you know of a cool tool that others can use, please let me know and I’ll add it to this page! Handy ManTools I’ve written
  • Tweet This – I use this with every blog post!  You create a link or graphic visitors can click on that takes them to their own twitter page with your words inserted into their tweet box ready to retweet you.  Makes it dead simple for visitors to tweet about you!
  • Link Builder – This let’s you put in a web address and it generates a link you can click on to download a pdf, image, movie etc.  There’s also a builder that takes url encoded pages and un-encodes them!
  • Image Resizer – Let’s you enter the height and width of an image and calculate target sizes. Very handy when writing blog articles!
